How to create a sitemap

In the previous tutorial has explained that "sitemap" is one of the conditions that must be done for your website or blog quickly indexed by google search engine. Sitemap is something that describes all the information about the page or the files that there is a site. How do create it ?

Steps Preparation
Creating Sitemap

1. STEP PREPARATION

Before you create a sitemap, the first step to do is "verify" ownership of the site. Go to the following address; http://google.com/webmasters, then you select or click on "Webmaster Tool (complete with a sitemap)." Next, you are prompted to login through your google account. After login, enter the name of your website which will be verified as the following example;

www.mysite.com
mysite.com
www.mysite.domain.com ~ (for subdomains)
mysite.domain.com ~ (for subdomains)

Then "click OK" to veryfikasi. Next you are asked to choose between 2 options "verification method".

META Tag Method
When you select the option of verification "Meta Tag Method" then came a series of letters and numbers. Copy and paste the rows of numbers and letters between the "Head tag and Body tag".

HTML File Method
When you select the option of verification "HTML File Method" then came a series of letters and numbers. The next step you are asked to make "empty file" in public_html of your site, then give the name "empty file" with a series of letters and numbers.

When you have finished doing one of the verification methods above, then immediately return to http://google.com/webmasters (to pages where you are instructed to enter the name of the site to verify). Then click "Verify". If the verification process a site that you are doing is correct, it will display a notification that "your site has been verified".

2.CREATING SITEMAP

To create a sitemap you can visit at; http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ a site that gives sitemap creation service for free. Follow all the instructions, then click "star". Wait a moment ..! soon the "sitemap" for your website has been made. Select the type xml sitemap, and then upload it to the public_html of your website. Submit a sitemap that has been uploaded to the public_html of your site to http://google.com/webmasters. The steps are;

Go to http://google.com/webmasters
Click on your site that have been verified
Click Configuration, then click the sitemap
Enter the name of a sitemap for your site. Example; http://mysite.com/sitemap.xml and click "send".

Below is an example of sitemap.xml;

There are several ways that you have to do, for your website or blog quickly indexed by the Google Search Engine;

FIRST

Go to http://google.com/webmasters then select or click on " Webmaster Tools , complete with sitemap", then (log in) through your google account. Next, follow all instructions. (Read more: you can see the article "about how to create a sitemap" on this blog.)

SECOND

Please visit the populer blog or website of friends, then leave a comment there and do not forget to include a link to your website or blog. This term among bloggers often called "Blogwalking".

THIRD

Take advantage of Blog Ping, this method is very popular among bloggers. This method is useful to invite search engine bots to your website or blog.

FOURTH

Take advantage of site-based "social bookmarking" to promote a website or blog. For example, reddit.com, digg.com, and so forth. The main reason this needs to be done is that search engines love to visit these sites, because the social bookmarking sites usually have visitors.

How to create a templates site

When we open the pages of a site, sometimes we are fascinated by the appearance of the site. Well ...! what really makes us spellbound on that site? "Templates" is what makes the pages of a site look more beautiful and attractive.

In this tutorial, I will discuss about "how to make a templates for a site." To discuss this, I assume you already have a little expertise "to write with HTML" as we discussed in previous tutorials. And still in the "xtgem free web hosting" which I use to discuss it.

Immediately to the subject;

First, download free css templates here!
Second, ekstak all up into three files like this: default or style css, image, and index.html
Third, Create a folder in cPanel xtgem and try the folder you named the same as the name of the templates that you want to use for your site. Example: "dragonfly."
Fourth, then upload the files; default or style.css and images into the folders that you created (dragonfly). To upload a file images, you should create a folder inside the folder "dragonfly" and was named the folder with "images".
Fifth, edit default / style.css as the following example;

   body {
    margin: 0px;
    background: #C0C0C0 url(images/img01.jpg) repeat-x left top;
    text-align: justify;
    font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
    font-size: 13px;
    font-style: italic;
    color: #7D807A;
}

Then edit the address of the default images / style.css with the newly uploaded images address where you place it, like this example;

body {
   margin: 0px;
   background: #C0C0C0 url(http://mysite.xtgem.com/dragonfly/images/img01.jpg) repeat-x left top;
   text-align: justify;
   font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
   font-size: 13px;

Sixth, open the file "index.html" with notepad and edit as you wish. After everything is finished, edit also the tag <head> as the following example;

Then edit to be like this;
<link href="http://mysite.xtgem.com/dragonfly/default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
atau
<link href="http://mysite.xtgem.com/dragonfly/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
It depends on the css file name before, default.css or style.css

Seventh, copy the html index file that was edited with notepad program to cPanel xtgem as pages in the index or page file from your site. Then "save" and see the results: "Your site to look more beautiful"

Learn how to write HTML

To become a "webmaster", writting html skills are a must. If you are intending to become a webmaster, I hope you are not lazy to learn about "how to write html". In the previous tutorial we talked about "what is HTML", and of course you already had some knowledge of it.

And in this tutorial, I will discuss about "how to write HTML" (example). To be more clear "how to write html" should follow the instructions below;

1. Create a file in "notepad" on your computer, like this;

 </ Head>

2. Save the file with a name; exercise-1.html . Save as type and then select All Files (*.*)

3. Open the file, then see the results to be as below;

4. Note also in the top left of the browser engine will appear to the title of the page (Learn how to write HTML)

What is HTML?

HTML

Stands for "Hyper Text Markup Language", which is a text file or ASCCI that contains the command or script on your web browser to display a graphical display.

ASCCI

Stands for "American Standard Code for Information Interchange". the format used for text files in the computer world and the Internet (text-only).

From the above data it can be deduced, that the writing on the web browser with ASCCI writing standards will not produce a display such as writing text on plain text files, thus it needs a command to make it, is HTML.

The format of the html is as follows;

 <TITLE> </ TITLE>

 <HEAD>

 <BODY>

 </ BODY>
 </ HTML>

From the above html format, I explain it as follows;

Two signs flank <> is called "tags"
A series of html format consists of 4 tags, namely: html tag, head tag, title tag and body tag.
Each tag consists of 2 different types of tags, namely "the opening tag and closing tag" sample; <html><head><title><body> ~ called the opening tag, </html></head></title></body> ~ called the clossing tag.
Html tags having a function to change the text file into a file HML.
Head tag serves to clamp a variety of functions and information that is pleasing to the relevant web pages.
Tag title is used to indicate the name of the page, and typically will appear on the top left on a halaman.Berikut example application of the Title tag; <title> What is HTML </ title>
Body tag is an HTML document the content of the real. In this tag, there are some, codes, scripts or rules that are applied in order to obtain the expected text is displayed on a web browser.

In this tutorial I will discuss "how to build a site" for beginners. In the previous tutorial we mentioned about "create and build a site on free webhosting".
